Lives and works in Sydney

B. 2001

Trésor Murace is a Sydney-based artist working primarily with airbrush. Her practice draws on popular culture, celebrity, advertising, and online imagery to examine how visibility, idealisation, and digital aesthetics shape contemporary identity. Defined by luminous, highly saturated surfaces and a distinctive use of sparkle, Murace’s paintings transform familiar images into heightened, seductive compositions.

Murace is the youngest finalist in the 2026 Archibald Prize with her portrait of Fiona Lowry. In 2025, Murace received the Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship and the Eloise Morton Financial Aid Scholarship from the National Art School. She is also a 2026 finalist in the Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize and Burwood Art Prize.
